The legendary Stelvio track in Bormio is the star of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, hosting the men's alpine skiing events. Today’s event features the narrow poles of Slalom!
Bormio is among the ski resorts that have made the history of alpine skiing. The golden book of the Stelvio track has recorded great champions of downhill skiing, from Americans Miller and Rahlves, to Austrians Maier, Walchhofer, Eberharter, Schifferer, and Strobl, to Swiss Defago, and Italians Innerhofer and Paris, the latter winning both the downhill and SuperG in 2017 and 2018.
After hosting the World Cup for over 30 years, 2 World Championships, for the first time, the track will be the venue for the Winter Olympic Games!
