Let’s light up Christmas!

The "Christmas in Valdidentro" festival officially kicks off!

From the Feast of the Immaculate Conception through to Epiphany, a rich calendar of events awaits: entertainment, music, shows, and activities for both adults and children, all designed to experience together the magical atmosphere of the holidays.

During these days, the Christmas Village will be open, featuring traditional markets showcasing handcrafted products made by the Valdidentro Folk group and local hobbyists. A bar service will also be available, offering mulled wine, hot drinks, roasted chestnuts, apple fritters, and many other delicious treats!

Below is the programme for the first five days of the festival:

❄️ Saturday, December 6

• 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. | Opening of the Christmas Village with its characteristic market stalls
• 4:00 p.m. | Magic and juggling show with Magician Manuel
• 5:00 p.m. | Christmas countdown: lighting of the Christmas tree and performance by the S. Cecilia Band of Valdidentro. Then everyone will be looking up as the Santa Clauses make their spectacular descent from the bell tower of the Church of Isolaccia, organized by CAI Valdidentro.

➡️ During the afternoon, pick up your little letter at the Christmas market stand, write down your wishes, and get ready to launch it into the sky on Sunday!

❄️ Sunday, December 7

• 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. | Opening of the Christmas Village with its characteristic market stalls
• 3:00 p.m. | Launch of biodegradable balloons with letters for Saint Lucy (pick up the letter on Saturday afternoon at the market stand or make one at home)
• 4:00 p.m. | Santa Claus arrives, with a fun themed photo booth and sweets for all the children!

➡️ Kids’ contest "Elf for a Day!": Join the event dressed as an elf; the cutest one will receive a special prize directly from Santa Claus!

❄️ Monday, December 8

• 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. | Opening of the Christmas Village with its characteristic market stalls
• 3:00 p.m. | Entertainment, baby dance, and lots of fun with the Animando Group and Fraelino

❄️ Saturday, December 13

• 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. | Opening of the Christmas Village with its characteristic market stalls
• From 3:30 p.m. | Musical entertainment with accordions

❄️ Sunday, December 14

• 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. | Opening of the Christmas Village with its characteristic market stalls

Charity Event

The proceeds from the markets organized by the Valdidentro Folk group will be donated to the Siro Mauro OdV Association, the Sanfilippo Fighters, development projects in Africa/Guinea-Bissau, and the Valdidentro Missionaries engaged around the world.
