"I re di denari" is a candid and unsparing behind-the-scenes account of the great battle over money that rages behind the backs and over the heads of ordinary citizens.

The time has come, however, to expose the economic events that are changing the face of the country. Mario Giordano does just that, as if it were a great popular novel, a saga in which the New Lords of Money, the Knights of Hard Cash—who are the true powers that be, as well as Italy’s real tycoons—clash.
