Contemporary ex-voto in dialogue with the Civic Museum of Bormio.
Through the creation of sacred hearts in DAS and terracotta, the students of the secondary classes of the Martino Anzi Institute wanted to express their gratitude for the little things in life, but also for the universal values of peace, love, and respect.
Each heart is an act of gratitude, a tribute to what unites us and makes us stronger.
The initiative is part of a journey to learn about local traditions, which saw the students visit the ex-voto exhibition. “The cross, a source of hope,” held in Bormio in September 2025, focused on the ex-voto preserved in the church of Santo Crocifisso. An opportunity to reflect on the symbolic power of the cross and the profound meaning of these signs of gratitude, which still today speak of hope and devotion.
