Contemporary ex-voto in dialogue with the Civic Museum of Bormio.
Through the creation of sacred hearts in DAS and terracotta, the students of the secondary classes of the Martino Anzi Institute wanted to express their gratitude for the small things in life, but also for the universal values of peace, love, and respect.
Each heart is an act of gratitude, a homage to what unites us and makes us stronger.
The initiative is part of a path of knowledge of local traditions, which saw students visit the exhibition of ex-voto. “The cross, a source of hope” held in Bormio in September 2025, focused on the ex-voto preserved in the Church of the Holy Crucifix. An opportunity to reflect on the symbolic power of the cross and the deep meaning of these signs of gratitude, which still speak of hope and devotion today.
