We celebrate the absolute debut of ski mountaineering at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics!

Program

  • from 3:00 PM | DJ Set by Siscofly - Special guests: Tina and Milo, the official mascots of Milano Cortina 2026!
  • 5:15 PM | Presentation of ski mountaineering in Bormio with Robert Antonioli; followed by the institutional greetings with Shiva Keshevan (Head of Sport & Events ISMF), Josef Gruber (ISMF Delegate) and Jordi Millastre (Marketing & Communication Manager) and the mayor of Bormio, Silvia Cavazzi
  • 6:00 PM | Parade of flags and presentation of the 36 Olympic athletes from 14 nations who will participate in the Sprint and Mixed Relay events
  • afterwards | DJ Set by Siscofly

The legendary Stelvio slope in Bormio is the host of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics hosting, for the first time in history, the ski mountaineering competitions. Appointment Thursday, February 19 with the Sprint for men and women and Saturday, February 21 with the Mixed Relay.

Bormio is among the ski resorts that have made history in alpine skiing, but for two years now, it has also been a protagonist in ski mountaineering hosting, in 2024, a stage of the junior World Cup and, in 2025, the senior World Cup. To elevate the name of national ski mountaineering, many Valtellina athletes such as Robert Antonioli, Michele Boscacci, Nicolò Canclini, Katia Mascherona, Giulia Murada, Giulia Compagnoni! Who will be the first athletes in history to win the Olympic gold?
