Ski Love (Directed by: Bruno Bozzetto - Duration: 13 minutes - Year: 1991)
The short film tells the story of a pair of skis that fall in love with a beautiful girl met on the cable car that goes from the Stelvio Pass to Livrio. The skis, almost psychologically substituting for their owner, a solitary young man completely dedicated to taking photographs of the landscape, accidentally come into contact with the girl. But that simple contact is enough to spark the flame, and the skis, filled with "womanizer" ardor and oblivious to their duties to the one who has rightfully purchased them and would expect their performance as every pair of skis should provide, begin to live and pulse only for the girl, trying to get noticed and following her everywhere like faithful puppies. While the young man desperately searches for his skis, which leave him high and dry from the very first descent in pursuit of the girl, the unfolding story offers numerous and amusing opportunities to showcase, in addition to the majestic alpine landscapes of the Ortles-Cevedale group, the life and working activities in a ski resort and its gathering places, environments where the girl moves, tenaciously followed by the skis, while she doesn't even notice them. Naturally, the entrance of a pair of skis into a crowded room, a bedroom, or a storage space gives rise to amusing gags, due to the absurdity and unpredictability of the situations. However, at the end of the day, the tenacity of the skis will be rewarded with what they have fought for: a kiss from the girl. Everything thus resolves happily, and the rightful owner gets his skis back, satisfied and placated in their "womanizing" ardor. But there isn’t just one girl on the ski slopes…

Tells the Olympics from different points of view.
Maurice Baquet, L'accordé (Directed by: Gilles Chappaz - Duration: 53 minutes - Year: 2023)
Maurice Baquet was a top-level musician, a member of the Groupe Octobre, a jester, actor, mountaineer, and skier. In fact, he once defined himself as a "cellist-skier," the only member of this category, making world ski champion James Couttet say: "Of all the skiers I know, he is the best cellist."; André Navarra, professor at the National Superior Conservatory, echoed him by adding: "Of all the cellists I know, he is the best skier." To talk about Maurice and all his adventures, who better than his alter ego: Cérébos, the faithful cello that has never left him. From Paris to Chamonix, from theater stages to granite slabs to snowy slopes, we follow Cérébos and traverse the century.

Trento Film Festival: Mountains and Cultures
Founded in 1952, the Trento Film Festival is the first thematic film festival in the world and the second Italian festival after the Venice Film Festival. For over seventy years, it has been the reference event dedicated to themes of mountains, adventure, and exploration, and environmental, cultural, and current issues have increasingly made the scope of the event and its programming more stimulating and varied.
The mountain is a protagonist, and numerous related themes, starting from mountaineering and its great international names, have opened up and evolved over the years, exploring new forms of language, dialogue, and sharing with the audience.
Every year, the international competition presents the best documentaries, feature films, and short films set against mountains and extreme regions of the world.
