Alpi 2.0 (Directed by: Aurelio Laino and Elena Negriolli - year: 2014)
The family of Lorenzo has been managing a mountain lodge in the Stelvio National Park at over 2,000 meters above sea level for two generations. Living in a high-altitude lodge means living in isolation, and to prevent the small community with whom spaces and time are shared from disbanding, some changes are necessary, first and foremost the ability to communicate with the outside world. In fact, Lorenzo has had a dream for years, to connect the lodge via the internet. “Alpi 2.0” shows a unique yet very current aspect of life in the Alps: the controversial theme of balancing the need for technological innovation to meet a changing tourism with the conservation of identity and tradition.
Stelvio National Park (Marco Polo - Thomas Vonmetz - duration: 41 minutes - year: 2017)
The glaciers have shaped the rugged landscape of the Stelvio National Park: valleys with unmistakable profiles carve through the mountain massifs up to the heart of the national park. Here, man and nature have always lived in a relationship of close interaction. The national park is conceived as a refuge for men and animals. From glaciers to milder climatic valleys, the Stelvio National Park is a model territory for the sustainable development of life in the Alpine area.

Trento Film Festival: Mountains and Cultures
Founded in 1952, the Trento Film Festival is the first thematic film festival in the world and the second Italian festival after the Venice Film Festival. For over seventy years, it has been the reference event dedicated to the themes of mountains, adventure, and exploration, and environmental, cultural, and current issues have made the scope of the event and its programming increasingly stimulating and diverse.
The mountain is the protagonist, and numerous themes related to it, starting from mountaineering and its great international names, have opened up and evolved over the years, exploring new forms of language, dialogue, and sharing with the audience.
Every year, the international competition presents the best documentaries, feature films, and short films set in mountains and extreme regions of the world.
