Marco Grassi
Marco Grassi (Grama), an Italian-born painter born in 1966, now lives and works in Lugano, Switzerland.
Marco Grassi creates remarkable portraits thanks to their realism, always accompanied by a special touch and a hint of surrealism. The artist places particular importance on the accuracy with which he treats the details of his unconventional subjects.
The works of Marco Grassi have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions and international fairs such as Art Basel, SCOPE Basel, and Moscow Art Fair. He was selected to be at the inauguration of the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2011.
