Campo sportivo Le PreseReturning to Le Prese is one of the most anticipated events of spring: the Chimney Sweep Festival, which this year celebrates an important milestone with its tenth edition. Two days dedicated to tradition, good food, music, and togetherness, in memory of Ernesto Villa and Marino Cappelletti “Batenda”.
The event is set for Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 at the Sports Field of Le Prese, Sondalo.
It kicks off Saturday at 5.30 p.m. with the opening of the festival and the traditional Chimney Sweep Aperitif. At 7.30 p.m. it's time for dinner with traditional dishes: sciatt, pizzoccheri, tripe, chicken, polenta, sausage, braciola, fries, and the Chimney Sweep dessert.
From 9.30 p.m. the evening continues with live music from Liga e realtà, a tribute band dedicated to Ligabue, followed by DJ set with Jazzy J.
On Sunday May 31, starting from 12.00 p.m., it's time for lunch with sea and land offerings: octopus salad, linguine allo scoglio, as well as chicken, polenta, sausage, braciola, fries, and dessert.
In the afternoon, there will be more fun with live music and children's entertainment with Gonfiabilandia.
The event will take place even in case of bad weather.
Ten editions later, the spirit is still the same: to be together and live tradition.
