Opening of the exhibition “Embroideries at the Museum”

Exhibition of embroidery made over the last two years by the Bormio Ricama Association, with specific works dedicated to cross-stitch, drawn thread work, and free embroidery. The theme of the 2026 exhibition is “lightness,” expressed through a flight of fabric and hand-dyed paper butterflies that accompany visitors along the exhibition route. The exhibition also features a display of antique embroidery from the collection of the Bormio Civic Museum, among which the antique porta enfant are particularly curious.

Exhibition opening hours

• Exhibition open inside the Civic Museum every day (except Monday morning)
• Opening hours: 10.00-12.30 and 15.00-19.00
• Access upon purchase of the Museum admission ticket - Full price (18-65 years) 5,00 € / reduced (groups of more than 15 people, university students up to 25 years old, residents of Bormio) 3,00 € / families (2 adults with at least one child) 8,00 € / free for under-18s accompanied by adults, tourist guides, people with disabilities with companion, accredited journalists and on their birthday
• Guided tour of the exhibition: July and August, every Thursday at 16.00 (free visit but subject to the purchase of the Museum admission ticket
