As part of the musical series LeAltreNote, the Municipality of Valdidentro hosts “Traces and Footprints”, a piano concert with Eunmi Park and Umberto Ruboni.
A captivating event built around two powerful and deeply evocative musical worlds: on the one hand, the ancestral energy of Igor’ Fëdorovič Stravinskij’s “The Rite of Spring”; on the other, the epic, cinematic atmosphere of John Williams’s “Jurassic Park”.
🎹 Four-hand piano
The stars of the evening will be Eunmi Park and Umberto Ruboni, who will create a pianistic dialogue capable of crossing different eras, languages, and worlds of imagination.
The piano will become a narrative and stage instrument: now rhythmic and overwhelming, now lyrical and cinematic, capable of evoking soundscapes, images, and moods.
🌋 The force of spring
The program features one of the most revolutionary works of twentieth-century music: Stravinskij’s “The Rite of Spring”.
A powerful, instinctive, primal work in which rhythm, energy, and tension become the absolute protagonists. Music that seems to be born from the earth, from movement, from ritual, from the ancient force of nature.
🦖 The world of Jurassic Park
Alongside Stravinskij, the evening opens up to great film music with John Williams’s “Jurassic Park”, one of the most famous and recognizable film scores in contemporary cinema.
A piece capable of evoking wonder, amazement, and a sense of adventure, perfectly in dialogue with the theme of traces and footprints: signs left by the past, ancient memories that return to speak to the present.
🐾 Traces, footprints and memory
The title “Traces and Footprints” evokes a journey made of signs, imprints, and suggestions.
Music thus becomes a way to follow a path: from the deepest, most ritual roots of nature to the cinematic imagination that has brought back to life, at least on the big screen, ancient creatures and lost worlds.
A concert that brings together energy, storytelling, and imagination, inviting the audience to be guided by the evocative power of sound.
