Geometries of the Past: The Urban Fabric of Bormio in 1960

Exhibition by and curated by Gino Clementi, an engineer originally from Bormio, who in 1960 created a model faithfully reproducing the settlement of Bormio.

The model is a witness to a transformation that involves not only an urban change but also a tourist and cultural one. The comparison of the model with photographs and postcards taken from 1960 to the present allows us to acknowledge the transformation of the town as a result of tourist development.
