The Valtellina Trail winds through a wide plain and dense woods at an altitude of 1800 m and is characterized by loops of 5 and 10 km, ups and downs, with elevation changes between 190 m and 390 m. The route features original technical solutions and a challenging descent, highly appreciated by more experienced cross-country skiers.
Alongside the competitive trail, there is also a tourist route "La Fonte" with loops of 2, 3, and 5 km, which are easier and accessible even to non-professionals.

At the start of the Valtellina trail, you will find the CENTRO FONDO SANTA CATERINA with:

RENTAL La Fonte: which offers a wide selection of ski equipment and boots for all ages and skill levels, a waxing room, and the headquarters of the Scuola Sci Fondo

SALA TRESERO : Heated locker room and clothing storage with secure lockers, public restrooms (free access and services) 

The high altitude and privileged location of Santa Caterina Valfurva ensure perfect snow conditions on all trails throughout the winter season.
