Have you ever heard of Hike for Ride? It literally means walking in order to ride your bike. On this breathtaking trail, we’ll start from the Scuola MTB Bormio headquarters, where a shuttle will take us up to the Torri di Fraele. From there, we’ll pedal for about thirty minutes, then carry our bikes on our shoulders for ten minutes until we reach the War Trenches, located near the summit of the famous Monte Scale. After crossing the tunnel that separates the two sides of the
mountain, we’ll ride the last 10 minutes to reach the Cross of Monte Scale—one of the most famous and beautiful panoramic spots in the Magnifica Terra, where we’ll enjoy a fantastic sunset aperitif! After the customary photos, we’ll embark on an amazing downhill ride that will take your breath away, all the way back to Bormio.
