The Paluaccio di Oga is an intermediate peat bog, rich in ancient and particular plant species, coming from faraway places. During the guided tour you can learned about rare plants, protagonists of the events that built "Paluaccio", where they came from and why. You will discover how a peat bog is formed, as it evolves over time, because it is rich in rare species. The educational activity, addressed to all, will take place in a colloquial and participatory manner.
ACTIVITY & PURPOSE
The protagonists of this visit are the insects, which represent the most numerous animal group on the Planet Earth. Although they are often invisible to our eyes, it is not so exaggerated to say that the world is of insects. In fact, even if they are not often seen, they are present everywhere.
Their close dependence on the environment in which they live makes them excellent bioindicators, that is, reliable indicators of the health of their habitat.
