Bormio, home of the 32^ edition of the Alta Valtellina Trophy, is the town of short track: here several national and international athletes were born. Young men and ladies from Bormio grew up skating in the local ice rink and for many of them, daily training paid off and were able to make it to the Olympics. Some became Olympic medalist.
