Saturday, March 7, at 4:00 PM: Official opening ceremony - parade of teams from Piazzetta S. Vitale to Piazza Cavour/Kuerc
The English Alpine Ski Championships are the main event of Snowsport England and represent the largest English week dedicated to winter ski competitions. Every winter, hundreds of British families flock to Bormio to participate in this highlight event for British alpine skiing.
Athletes of all ages, starting from eight years old, will compete in slalom, giant slalom, super G, and combined events. It is a gateway for future world champions in alpine skiing and Olympic stars: Dave Ryding, the great British skier who has achieved several placements in the World Cup, including a slalom victory in Kitzbühel in 2022, started his competitive career on snow here!
