Cima Coppi Climb 2026 - 24th edition

From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, closure of the Stelvio road to motor traffic on all three sides: from Bormio, loc. Bagni Vecchi, from Trafoi (BZ), and from S.ta Maria Val Müstair (CH).

The historic ascent to the Stelvio Pass will therefore be reserved for a day for lovers of cycling and running, allowing them to tackle the route in complete tranquility and safety.

The event is free and open to all - there is no registration and it is not a competition.

The route

21 km with a vertical drop of 1,551 meters, an average gradient of 7.1%, and a maximum gradient of 14%. Finish line at 2,758 meters.

For safety reasons, it is important not to forget a helmet, gloves, sunglasses, and a raincoat, as well as to check the condition of your vehicle. Although the road is closed to traffic, it is necessary to adhere to traffic code regulations, staying in the right lane and moderating speed while descending.
