First event of Valdidentro’s traditional and evocative Choral Festival

Now in its 24th edition, the Festival continues to be an unmissable appointment during the Christmas season, attracting a loyal audience year after year. An initiative that, edition after edition, welcomes different choirs, offering the public new musical atmospheres and performances filled with emotion.

Organised and promoted by the Stelvio Choir, under the direction of Maestro Matteo Bertolina, this year the Festival features two evenings: the first in December at the Church of Isolaccia, and the second in early January in the charming Church of Premadio.

The Stelvio Choir will open the evening with their performance, introducing the audience to this musical event with a moment of great intensity and participation.

This will be followed by performances from two guest choirs, both from Valtellina:

The “Unda Maris” Choir from Castionetto di Chiuro

Founded in 1969, it offers a repertoire ranging from folk and mountain songs to spiritual and contemporary pieces, distinguished by the harmony of its voices and the quality of its performances. The choir is conducted by Marzia Folini.

Monteneve Choir from Livigno

A historic Livigno ensemble, the choir directed by Cinzia Galli has been an ambassador for Alpine musical traditions for years, offering a repertoire of mountain and folk songs performed with great passion and energy.

An evening that promises to be full of emotion and charm, in which choral voices will be the protagonists of an authentic musical journey into the heart of the Christmas festivities.
