S. Caterina Valfurva will be the venue for a significant international sporting event: for the second time, the Valtellina location will host a stage of the Paralympic Alpine Skiing World Cup. On the famous Deborah Compagnoni track, male and female athletes from around the world will compete in two days of downhill races, preceded by official training.
This event marks an important step towards inclusion in sports and represents a significant test ahead of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games. Santa Caterina, already known for FIS World Cup competitions, thus confirms its central role in the international skiing scene, also opening the doors to the Paralympic movement.
