11^ ICSS - International Congress on Science and Skiing

The International Congress on Science and Skiing (ICSS) offers a series of lectures with a rich scientific program, which includes over 200 contributions through forums and oral presentations from all skiing disciplines and from multiple research fields.
The congress also includes enjoyable social and sports activities that highlight the local culture and gastronomy.

Building on the success of previous editions held in Austria, the United States, and Finland, the 11th edition of this prestigious congress is taking place in Bormio, at the Alberti Institute, which offers a modern auditorium with 250 seats and complete technical facilities, as well as rooms for parallel sessions, seminars, multimedia exhibitions, and displays.

The congress is part of the Cultural Olympiad 2026 initiative, the Cultural Olympics of Milan Cortina 2026, a multidisciplinary, varied, and widespread program that has enlivened Italy by promoting Olympic values through culture, heritage, and sport, on the occasion of the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, hosted in February and March 2026.
