Every summer, Bormio’s iconic passes offer thrilling emotions and new adventures.
If you’re a road cycling enthusiast dreaming of tackling some of the climbs that have made cycling history—without motorized traffic—Bormio organizes multiple bike-focused events, including the Re Stelvio Mapei.
The Re Stelvio Mapei has become one of Bormio’s classic summer events. This unique experience brings together professionals and amateur cyclists who share your passion for two wheels, as well as runners—all united by the desire to conquer the legendary climb with its 40 hairpin turns leading to the top of the Stelvio.
1,533 meters of elevation gain to reach the 2,758 meters of the Cima Coppi, covering a total of 21 km from Bormio to the summit of this iconic pass!
The event includes a competitive cycling race, a non-competitive cycling tour for e-bikes, a half marathon, and a running event open to everyone.
