Cultural Festival. Bormio has always been a major center for cultural exchange, where diverse knowledge and arts converge. This tradition continues today with the Milanesiana Festival.
The Milanesiana, conceived and directed by Elisabetta Sgarbi, is a festival that, for over twenty years, has aimed to spread culture in all its forms, giving space to literature, music, cinema, science, art, and philosophy, as well as theater, law, economics, and sport.
Italian and international guests enliven numerous meetings and exhibitions, bringing the festival’s message of energy and positivity to more than twenty cities. For several years, Bormio has hosted the Rosa della Milanesiana in the splendid setting of its historic center, thanks to the commitment of Paola Romerio Bonazzi, the current Cultural Councillor of Bormio.
With musical performances, lectures, exhibitions, and the “Bormio Contea” Literary Prize, the town becomes one of the cultural protagonists of the Alps.
