Put your balance to the test at the Bormio ice rink
The Bormio indoor ice rink is open nine months a year from July to March.
You can hire skates and hit the rink that has staged numerous international short track speed skating races. In Santa Caterina Valfurva and Valdidentro, you can skate outdoors over the winter on a natural ice rink.
Want to try curling? At the ice rink in Bormio, you can give it a go on one of the few curling rinks in the Italian Alps.
At the Bormio Ice Palace there is a very large indoor skating rink. It is the rink for international short track competitions, but when there are no great athletes competing on its perimeter, it is the ideal place to take your first steps on the blades. Or twirl through the air if you are an experienced skater!
At the side of the rink there is also a Coffee Break room where you can rest and refresh yourself before returning to the rink again. You can rent skates directly at the entrance.
In the heart of Santa Caterina Valfurva, a splendid outdoor skating rink awaits you, perfect for having fun with your children after a day on the slopes or in the snow. Experience the magic of skating in an authentic atmosphere, surrounded by the mountains of the Stelvio National Park.
The rink is open from December to March, even in the evenings! You can rent skates directly at the entrance. All you have to do is put them on and start having fun!
In Isolaccia, in the centre of Valdidentro, there is a beautiful outdoor skating rink, ideal for spending special moments with your children. Easy to reach, surrounded by a relaxed atmosphere, it is the right place for a family break.
It is open from December to February, also in the evening hours. Skates can be hired conveniently at the entrance to the rink. Bring along the desire to slide and smile!
Did you know that in Bormio you can try one of the most curious and entertaining winter sports? Next to the Palaghiaccio, you will find the only indoor curling field in Lombardy entirely dedicated to this sport!
