Ready to challenge His Majesty the Stelvio by bike or on foot?
A classic for Stelvio lovers
The Re Stelvio Mapei has become a classic, reaching its 40th edition.
This year's event is scheduled for Sunday, July 13!
The event is unique and unmissable, uniting over 3,000 competitors who challenge each other on the 42 hairpin turns of the most famous alpine climb, the Stelvio.
The competition is one of a kind: at the starting blocks, runners and cyclists (both professionals and amateurs) are ready to tackle the legendary climb of the Stelvio (1,533 m of elevation gain) all the way to the summit, Cima Coppi, at 2,758 m; a total of 21.097 km from Bormio to the Stelvio Pass.
The event includes a half marathon, a run open to all, a non-competitive cycling rally dedicated to e-bikes, and a competitive cycling race.
Due to the popularity of the race and the high number of participants, the ascent from Bormio to the Stelvio Pass will be closed to motor vehicles and reserved solely for those participating in the event.
On this occasion, the road to the Stelvio Pass will be closed to vehicle traffic from Loc. Bagni Vecchi from 8.45 am to 2.00 pm
