OPEN: Summer season: from late May to late October Winter season: from December to April The refuge is a stop on the Alta Via della Valmalenco and the Sentiero Italia, an ideal place for both sports enthusiasts and pleasant moments of relaxation on the shores of the lake or in the surrounding woods. The nearby ski lifts make the refuge a base for fantastic winter weeks. HOW TO GET THERE: you can leave the car in the Barchi area and from here reach it in about half an hour on a comfortable mule track; otherwise from Chiesa Valmalenco the cable car goes directly to Alpe Palu', from where in a few minutes of walking you arrive at the refuge.
