Born in Milan in 2000, on the initiative and under the direction of Elisabetta Sgarbi, La Milanesiana aims to bring together knowledge and different arts, presenting to the general public international figures of excellence from the cultural and scientific world: Nobel Prize winners in literature and science, Academy Award-winning filmmakers, and musicians who have received the highest international accolades. Over the years, the festival has increasingly expanded its scope and, in addition to Milan, is held in several cities across Italy, including, for the past ten years, Bormio.
Each year, La Milanesiana addresses a theme that defines and runs through the entire edition. This year, it is "Desire and Law".
Fun for all children with the event by the publishing house Prometeica: reading of the book "Francis of Assisi for children (and for curious parents)"
