The length and high elevation gain combined with long stretches with gradients around 15 % also oblige the use of medium engine assistance. The climb is on asphalt road in the first part, then it becomes dirt with concrete stretches and the gradient increases until you reach Nemina Alta. From here, after enjoying the wide panorama toward Valtellina and the Orobie mountain range, you begin the westward traverse, still slightly uphill to Baite Paroli. The dirt road with a compact surface continues with ups and downs and a few tears until it comes out on the hump just below Prato Valentino. It descends on a paved road until the detour to the left in the locality of Gema (hairpin bend at an altitude of 1060 m). The next dirt road leads back to the Bianzone area above Piazzeda.
