Alaskan-style dog sledding in the Stelvio National Park

Glide through the magical forests of the Stelvio National Park, along the Decauville trail, immersed in the silence of nature. You’ll rediscover a sense of freedom and peace.

At the Centro Italiano Sleddog Husky Village you can drive your sled with a pack of Alaskan huskies. You will be taught how to command the dogs beforehand and decide how to move and drive your group of huskies.

Husky trekking and karting are the summer version of dog sledding.

Husky trekking is a new frontier in hiking and trekking. Combine the pleasure of a walk in nature with the comfort of being drawn by man’s best friend. For this activity you will wear a harness attached to a husky via a leash. The dog will follow your commands and help you to walk along the forest trails. Don’t worry, the instructors will always be on hand so you can enjoy the beauty of the forests and pastures of the Stelvio National Park.

If you don’t want to, or can’t, walk, but don’t want to miss out, then you can try a husky drawn kart. On the kart, a sled on wheels, you will be drawn by husky dogs along a 5km forest trail.
