Like the previous one, this route is also double: the main goal is Val Torreggio and Rifugio Bosio, the second is the beautiful hamlet of Alpe Pirlo. Overall, the itinerary is long, the elevation gain significant, and the slope not excessive, but with some stretches above 10%. After the first part from Chiesa on an asphalt road towards Primolo, at the first hairpin bend the real climb begins still on asphalt, then on concrete and dirt along countless hairpin bends in the woods, then emerging into the wide plain of Alpe Lago which the dirt road bypasses on the right to enter Val Torreggio. A long crossing on compact terrain leads to Alpe Airale and Rifugio Bosio in a splendid plain overlooking the red rocks of the Corni Bruciati. On the descent, shortly after Alpe Lago, at the first hairpin bend, take the route on the left that reaches Alpe Giumellino and Alpe Pirlo with a lovely small lake.
