Relaxing transfer route between stage 5 and 7, which follows the classic route to the Scala Valley. From here it is recommended to descend towards the villages of Graile and Mondadizza, take the Valtellina trail up to Le Prese, and then continue along the municipal road to Fontanaccia, at the entrance of the Rezzalo valley, passing through the characteristic villages of Frontale and Fumero.

The most daring, trained, and technically skilled can follow the classic route climbing the Scala Valley up to Scala Piana and follow trail S487 up to Fontanaccia. Only for bikers willing to push the MTB for some sections and with good technical skills.
