Bormio 360 is a circular route 140 km long with a total elevation gain of about 6200 m, traversing the mountainous sides of the 5 municipalities of the Bormio area (Bormio, Sondalo, Valdidentro, Valdisotto, and Valfurva) at an altitude between 837 and 2,462 m above sea level. It is suitable for both trekking and MTB routes, preferably with an E-Bike. WARNING: Many stages are easy even by MTB/EBIKE and accessible to all, but some, such as stages 4, 5, and 8, are only for the more experienced and trained cyclists.

The loop is divided into 10 stages, allowing users to calibrate their efforts and to cover only part of it or split it into several days by staying overnight at the refuges and mountain huts located along the route. Each stage has a theme that recalls, through specific signposting and informational totems, the environmental, historical, cultural, and natural features of the area visited. This project intends to promote a unique experience of recreation, physical activity, and contact with the territory. It is an opportunity to learn about the land in its various forms and peculiarities, to touch its characteristics firsthand and experience it directly by sharing activities with the mountain herders, to face environments that were once considered frightening and witch haunts, to breathe the oxygen of the forest, and to touch water in its various forms.
