The Viola Prize returns to Valdidentro to celebrate contemporary art as a form of dialogue between culture, territory, and personal vision
Valdidentro hosts the 10th edition of the prestigious Ferriere Arte International Contemporary Art Prize, better known as the Viola Prize. Organized by the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Valdidentro, and passionately supported by dedicated volunteers, this event represents an important opportunity to promote and enhance contemporary art in a setting that celebrates creativity and artistic innovation.
The Viola Prize is open to all artists, regardless of nationality or age, with the aim of offering an inclusive platform where the quality and originality of the works can stand out. Participants may submit one work on a free theme and one work dedicated to the theme “Olimpiadi26: Man, Nature and Sport”, in tribute to the upcoming Winter Olympic Games, which will also involve the Valtellina area. Both paintings and graphic artworks will be accepted, created with traditional or experimental techniques, within the maximum size of 100x100 cm.
