The S.S. Crucifix of Combo has been a significant spiritual appeal for the people of Bormio and the valleys for centuries: the realistic image of Christ on the cross, whose origin is still vaguely defined, vividly represents the passion of Jesus.

THURSDAY 11th SEPTEMBER
- 8.30 pm - Holy Mass in the Church of the Holy Cross, followed by a procession and transport of the Holy Crucifix from Piazza del S. Crocifisso, Via S. Antonio, Via Funivie, Via Vallecetta, Via Coltura, Ponte di Combo, Via Morcelli to Piazza Cavour/Kuerc.
SUNDAY 14th SEPTEMBER
- 2.30 pm – Solemn Mass Piazza del Kuerc/ Cavour Square with Bishop Oscar. Follows the Solemn Procession with the Holy Crucifix through the streets of the village according to the historical route from the Collegiata of SS Gervasio and Protasio in Piazza Cavour, via Della Vittoria, Piazza San Gottardo, via M. Braulio, via San Sebastiano, via Milano, via S. Vitale, via Roma, via Morcelli, Combo bridge, Church of the S.Crocifisso. Along the route, access doors to the various departments have been set up, featuring exquisite craftsmanship offered by the community.
