Concert of jazz music in the context of the prestigious Ambria Jazz, a festival of musical contaminations.
DOS Duo Onirico Sonoro - Floating
Annalisa De Feo (compositions, piano, voice, and electronics)
Livia De Romanis (cello, voice, and effects)
Floating starts from sound in its multiple timbral potentials, capable of eliciting emotional sensations, poetic intuitions, and dreamlike visions, to become a constantly changing flow.
It is a floating that bends, alters, softens, transforms, just as water, in its manifestation of primordial fluid and the genesis of all things, does in its passage.
Pieces vary from chamber music flavors to those with clear contemporary and experimental references, without overlooking the pop trends to which the artist remains attached.
Annalisa De Feo here exploits the complicity of nature to illustrate how the fluidity and softness of water are the same characteristics of those who have chosen flexibility; which does not equate to surrender but to the ability to turn even seemingly unfavorable situations to one's advantage: the soft bends, the rigid breaks.
The acoustic sounds of the piano and cello merge with minimalist electronics, where the voice plays between grammelot and Northern European languages, creating landscapes as changeable as they are inspired.
DOS Duo Onirico Sonoro is the original project of Annalisa De Feo, pianist, singer, composer, accompanied by Livia De Romanis, a guest cellist on several occasions at AmbriaJazz.
