One of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer in Alta Valtellina is back again this year: the Band Festival organised with passion and dedication by the Banda Musicale Santa Cecilia di Valdidentro, now in its 20th edition.
A significant milestone, testifying to the strength of a tradition that unites music, culture, folklore, and friendship.
Over the years, the Rassegna has successfully involved bands and folklore groups from all over Italy, creating a special occasion for meeting, sharing, and entertainment in the context of Valdidentro.
The programme consists of two days full of emotions:
- On Saturday evening, an appointment at the Rasin Multipurpose Hall for an unmissable evening of music: it starts with a concert by the host band and a guest group, followed by a dance evening open to all, in a festive and cheerful atmosphere involving the public and musicians alike;
- On Sunday morning, starting at 10:00 a.m., the bands will parade through the streets of the village, starting from Piazza IV Novembre in Isolaccia, giving the public a show of colours, notes and energy, and then perform outdoors at the Rasin Multifunctional Centre in a succession of performances that enchant residents and tourists every year.
The Valdidentro Band Festival is more than just an event; it is a moment in which music becomes a universal language, capable of bridging distances and igniting enthusiasm in young and old alike.
