THE EXPERIENCE
Following a brief introduction by an expert naturalist, participants will embark on a series of stops along the flat trail through the peat bog, with the opportunity to directly observe insects—of which the protected area is particularly rich—in their natural habitat.
ACTIVITY & PURPOSE
Butterflies have long symbolized grace and beauty, inspiring poets and artists for centuries with their delicate flight, brilliant colors, and fascinating, mysterious life cycle.
In nature, they play a crucial role as bioindicators: their presence signals a healthy environment, as they are closely tied to the ecosystems in which they live.
During the activity, we will learn to recognize and appreciate butterflies through direct observation in the Paluaccio Nature Reserve. We will also discover how an entomologist works to survey and monitor these precious insects.
FREE ACTIVITY: Limited spots available!
