In the historic center of Bormio, one of the most anticipated events of the Bormio summer: the Evening of Wines.
The historic courtyards of Bormio will open to the public to host the most important wineries from Valtellina. An open-air path in the historic center, where wine becomes the common thread of a evening of tastings, including food, music, and entertainment.
Sassella, Grumello, Inferno, and of course the Sforzato, the king of Valtellina wines, will surely be the stars, but they will also be accompanied by typical dishes from the tradition. And finally, music, entertainment, and lots of fun!
As in previous editions, the Open Cellars path offers customers the opportunity to enjoy wine tastings, including DOCG, DOC-IGT, and Sforzati, as well as gastronomic tastings: pizzoccheri, polenta with mixed meat stew, and raw meat. Accompanying guests and children will have the option to purchase a Soft Ticket, which allows access to one of the gastronomic tastings and Levissima water.
During the evening, apple fritters will be served by the Piero and Lucille Corti Foundation (for a fee, with proceeds going to initiatives in Uganda).
