The Munt La Schera Tunnel, 3.5 km long, is the main access route to Livigno for travellers coming from Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto, the Swiss Engadin and Northern Europe.
Located on the Italian–Swiss border, it operates with alternating one-way traffic and requires a toll.
Online ticket sales are available for cars with up to 9 seats, motorcycles and camper vans/caravans, for both single and return journeys. Tickets for other vehicle categories can only be purchased at the Punt dal Gall toll station.
