L'itinerario si svolge lungo la Valle di Cedc. Dal Rifugio Ghiacciaio dei Forni 2178 m dove il sentiero 528 conduce alla Caserma di Valle di Cedc fino al bivio di Rio Grande, per poi proseguire per tracce fino al Passo di Zebr nord m 3001. Da qui si percorre in discesa il sentiero 529 verso il Rifugio Pizzini 2700 m e quindi fino al Rifugio Ghiacciaio dei Forni lungo il sentiero 528.
