Sondalo (SO), Summer 2025 – Summer in Alta Valtellina enriches with a new, original, and delightful event: the first edition of “SondaLOVE Beer” comes to life, an appointment that celebrates Valtellinese craft beer and local culinary tradition in a path to be discovered, in the heart of the historic center of Sondalo.
The initiative arises from the collaboration between APT Sondalo and Beertellina, the association that brings together enthusiasts and Valtellinese craft breweries, with the support of APF Valtellina and Butéga Valtellina, entities active in promoting the territory and its excellences. The goal is simple yet ambitious: to offer an experience filled with authentic flavors, music, history, and conviviality.
The route will wind through hidden courtyards, charming alleyways, and enchanting views, for an itinerary that will lead participants to discover eight stations with a curated selection of the best local labels poured directly by master brewers, and four food points, where to savor traditional dishes made with genuine local ingredients.
Enhancing the atmosphere will be music, entertainment, exhibitions, and installations, alongside a special exhibition of vintage vehicles and license plates, created in collaboration with the Valtellina Oldtimers association. A true widespread celebration that will culminate in a grand evening in the historic square, enlivened by live music, DJ sets, and food and refreshment areas signed by BeerTellina.
The event will start at 6:00 PM with the opening of the welcome point, where it will be possible to collect the BeerPass, which allows access to the stands along the route, with the tasting kit included. Collection will be possible until 8:30 PM.
The BeerPass can be purchased in advance at a discounted price, until August 19th, for 30 euros, while the full price will be 35 euros and can be bought at the InfoPoint of Sondalo or online. Passes will also be on sale on the day of the event, subject to availability.
Stage route: 4 beer stations and 4 food stations with Valtellina specialties: Platter of cured meats and cheeses “Unique and not typical” - Valtellinese buckwheat gnocchi - Valtellinese hamburger with potatoes – Panna cotta with dark beer jelly and crumble
“SondaLOVE Beer” is more than an event: it is an invitation to rediscover the beauty of places, to share authentic flavors, to meet amidst music, beer, and tradition in a welcoming festive atmosphere in the square. An experience designed for residents, tourists, and enthusiasts, to be enjoyed with the heart… and with a glass in hand.
