Storyline: Lavacro
After leaving the Vancouver police department, former lieutenant Jack Cabodi lives in solitude in Labrador. Convinced by his former boss to leave his voluntary isolation due to mysterious deliveries of human skin to the Catholic Church and the Mennonite Church of Rosthern, Cabodi begins to investigate alongside Leonardo Aresi, a religious homicide expert sent from Rome by the Vatican police. As the macabre deliveries continue, accompanied by enigmatic messages linked to the archaic language of the Navajo people, Cabodi discovers that the motive driving the mysterious killer has roots in a past carefully concealed by the Vatican authorities.
Storyline: Opposition [a new investigation of detective Jack Cabodi]
Lieutenant Jack Cabodi is sent to join a special task force tasked with solving the mystery of the disappearances of young girls from the indigenous reserves of Wendake and Akesaswne. Under the guidance of the charismatic Colonel O’Bryan, the team of agents, equipped with both diverse and exceptional skills - including a psychic with unique abilities - delves into the dark plots of an investigation that soon reveals disturbing links to corruption, drug trafficking, illegal organ trade, and the hidden depths of the Darknet.
In this new adventure, Jack Cabodi must question whether the fog enveloping the city is a veil too thick to be torn apart. A story of suspense and astounding revelations, "Opposition" is a journey into the dark heart of human nature and the secrets that survive through the centuries.
