Cultural evening |“Bertarelli, Tuana, Cerletti and the First World War”
The Ortles Cevedale front during the First World War was the scene of bitter fighting between the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. And it was in Val Zebrù, one of the valleys that played a leading role on the Alpine front, that three destinies intertwined: an alpinist, a doctor and a guide: Guido Bertarelli, Ugo Cerletti and Giuseppe Tuana.
Gian Celso Agazzi will tell us the stories and anecdotes of these three illustrious characters swept up in the events of the White War and stationed at the Milano Mountai Hut, now the Rifugio Quinto Alpini .
