A day of trekking in the heart of the Stelvio National Park among nature, memory, and Olympic ideals.
The project "The Games on the Peace Trail" aims to promote, through the theme of peace, the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics and their deep connection to the territory. The initiative is open to everyone and particularly targets tourists, families, mountain and trekking enthusiasts, offering an experience that combines walking, history and values.
During the hike along the paths that cross the locations of the First World War, participants will be accompanied by mountain experts, who will lead the stops with brief engaging talks to narrate the events of the conflict and reflect on the importance of the Olympic truce, the value of peace, and the spirit of brotherhood that drives the Games.
The goal is twofold: on one hand, enhancing the local historical and natural heritage, and on the other hand, spreading the values of Olympism - respect, friendship, excellence - as tools for dialogue and collective growth. An opportunity to experience sports as a source of well-being, socialization, and memory.
