The tour starts in Bormio, riding on an asphalt road up to the Torri di Fraele, or alternatively on a mule track passing through Boscopiano, leading directly to the first dam of the Cancano lakes. (Another option is to start from the Torri using a shuttle service.)
From there, we ride alongside almost both Cancano lakes until we reach the entrance to Val Trela, where a scenic climb begins, taking us to Malga Trela, the perfect spot for a delicious aperitif with local cheeses and cured
meats.We continue along a trail leading to the Passo Trela. Once at the top, a beautiful trail through the Val de Tort awaits us, bringing us to Rifugio Alpisella, where we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch and have the opportunity to recharge our e-bikes. After lunch, we continue along a mule track to Passo Alpisella, followed by another stunning trail that brings us back to the Cancano lakes. From the Torri di Fraele, we will choose together the most suitable route back to Bormio depending on your riding level.
