Listening to the deer roaring in Val Zebrù
The excursion, guided by a mountain guide, starts in the early afternoon from the parking lot of Fantelle (Valfurva). From here, a guided walk along a comfortable dirt road leads into the valley, through larch forests and scenic viewpoints. The trail is of easy hiking difficulty and is suitable for inexperienced walkers as well.
During the ascent, which lasts about two hours, the guide will share curiosities and information about the behavior of deer and their role in the alpine environment. The excursion continues until dusk, when the deer are most active and their calls resonate more clearly in the valley. A suggestive, immersive, and respectful experience of the animals, to be enjoyed quietly, with eyes and ears wide open.
