The park is for everyone. Thanks to the large number of joëlettes, the Stelvio National Park becomes inclusive and accessible even to people with mobility difficulties.
The Stelvio National Park becomes inclusive to allow anyone to immerse themselves in nature, experiencing firsthand the emotions that only the mountain can offer. The project aims not only to protect nature, but also to make it useable and inclusive for as many people as possible, allowing children, adults or the elderly who have permanent or temporary motor difficulties to walk the trails enjoying a rewarding all-round experience thanks to the means made available free of charge by the Stelvio National Park.
To fully live the experience in the mountains it is in fact necessary to delve into 360° nature and enjoy the beauties given by the landscape with all the senses: not only with your eyes, but also with your nose and ears and, why not, with your taste buds.
Aids, such as joëlettes - some of which are electrically assisted, e-hand-bikes and mountain-trikes, can be booked at least a week in advance by anyone; where necessary, there is also the possibility of requesting the presence of volunteer companions.
