In autumn, the Val Zebrù transforms into a true natural painting: the larches take on various shades of yellow and the sunlight filters through the branches, creating warm and enveloping reflections. It is the perfect moment to experience an immersive hike in the heart of the Park, discovering the wonderful alpine foliage.
The meeting point is at 9.30 am, at the Fantelle parking lot (Valfurva). From here, a guided walk begins along the comfortable gravel road that leads into the valley, among larch forests and panoramic views. The trail is of easy hiking difficulty and is suitable even for inexperienced walkers.
During the hike, the guide will illustrate the features of the alpine landscape in its autumn attire, explaining the peculiar transformation of the larch – the only conifer that loses its leaves – and the ecological dynamics that make foliage such a fascinating phenomenon. There will also be interesting facts about the local flora and fauna, as well as moments of pause to enjoy the views, photograph, and calmly observe nature.
The route includes stops at the most picturesque points of the valley. A day outdoors, to breathe in autumn with all the senses and be enchanted by the colors of the mountains before winter arrives.
