Arriving by car
You can easily reach us by car.
If you are near Milan, Lecco or Como, take the S.S. 38.
If you are in the province of Bergamo or Brescia, you can reach us via the Aprica Pass. It is always open even in winter. Alternatively, you can take the Gavia Pass (closed in winter).
If you are in Trentino or Switzerland, the Stelvio Pass (only in summer) and the Munt La Schera Tunnel in Livigno (both summer and winter) are your options. If you are in Switzerland, you can reach us via the Bernina Pass.
Arriving by train + bus
The nearest train station to Bormio is the Tirano station, which can be reached from Milan Central Station in about 2 and a half hours (for more information, visit the Trenord website).
Changes to RE train services on the Milan-Tirano-Milan line
Due to enhancement and maintenance works on the line, a replacement bus service will be active on the following dates and routes:
June 15-September 14: Lecco-Tirano-Lecco route (click HERE for all detailed information)
From Tirano, the Perego line bus will take you to the center of Bormio. You can also find the schedules of Perego buses on Google Maps in the directions section by clicking on "public transport".
Arriving by plane
The nearest Italian airports are those of Bergamo and Milano, while the airport in Zurich is also well connected.
