On Sunday 6 July, the celebrations of the Bicentenary of the Stelvio Pass Road will reach their climax with the official ceremony: a parade of historical floats, carriages, music bands, choirs and vintage vehicles, with a special philatelic cancellation by the Italian Postal Service, will accompany institutions and visitors to the central square of the Pass, set up for the occasion with a stage, food stands and typical products from the three sides.
A true homage to local culture, Alpine tradition and the deep bond between man and mountain.
Official closure of the Stelvio Pass at the 4th Cantoniera from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Free return shuttle buses will be available from the pass to the IV^ Cantoniera. The Umbrail Pass will remain open to vehicle traffic as normal.
